STROM: Das Stromnetz in Kroatien ist manchmal nicht so stabil, wie wir es normalerweise gewohnt sind. Daher kann es von Zeit zu Zeit zu kurzen Stromausfällen kommen. Dies ist kein Grund zur Sorge und der Strom kehrt in der Regel nach wenigen Minuten zurück. Bei Überlastung kann es sein, dass eine Sicherung im Sicherungskasten abschaltet. Ein Sicherungskasten befindet im Wohnzimmer hinter der Eingangstür, ein weiterer hinter der Eingangstür zu den Schlafräumen.
WARMWASSERBOILER: Der Warmwasserboiler befindet sich im ehemaligen Stall über der Waschmaschine. Zwei wichtige Dinge gibt es hier zu erwähnen. Links neben der Tür im Stall sind zwei Schalter installiert. Der Schalter mit Beleuchtung ist für den Warmwasserboiler und schaltet ihn an oder aus. Damit ihr warmes Wasser habt, achten darauf, dass er stets auf „an“ geschaltet ist. Des Weiteren ist an der Unterseite des Boilers ein Rädchen, an dem ihr die Temperatur des Wassers einstellen könnt. Erfahrungsgemäß ist eine ca. mittlere Einstellung bei vier Personen ausreichend.
KLIMAGERÄTE: In allen Zimmern befinden sich Klimaanlagen. Die Fernbedienungen dafür finden Sie jeweils im Eingangsbereich der Zimmer. Da es sich um verschiedene Fernbedienungen handelt, tauscht diese bitte nicht unter den Zimmern aus. Um die Umwelt und die Ressourcen zu schonen, freuen wir uns, wenn ihr die Klimageräte achtsam nutzt.

Mit den Pfeiltasten könnt ihr jetzt die gewünschte Temperatur einstellen. Der FAN Knopf ist für die Stärke des Ventilators zuständig, mehrfaches Drücken sorgt für eine entsprechende Veränderung. Klappen ihr die Fernbedienung am unteren Teil auf, so könnt ihr durch mehrfaches Drücken des MODE
Schalters verschieden Funktionen der Klimaanlage wählen. Nutzt das Symbol der Schneeflocke für Kühlung, das der Sonne für Heizen. Die blauen Knöpfe verändern durch Mehrfachdrücken die Stellung der Lüftungsklappen.
Im Badezimmer und dem WC haben wir Heizlüfter für euch bereitgestellt, sollten früh oder spät im Jahr, die Nächte mal etwas kühler sein.
GESCHIRRSPÜLER: Für die Nutzung des Geschirrspülers dreht den Wasserhahn im Schrank unter der Spüle auf. Bitte verwendet Sie stets Dreifach-Tabs, welche bereits Klarspüler und Salz enthalten. Ein Einfüllen von Klarspüler und Salz ist dann nicht mehr nötig. Links am Geschirrspüler befindet sich ein Knopf mit einem Tabsymbol. Dieses muss gedrückt werden, damit der Tab sich auflöst. Bitte beachtet, dass es insbesondere in der Hochsaison zu
Stromschwankungen kommen kann, der Spüler schaltet sich dann während des
Waschvorgangs ab und stoppt. Lasst einfach alles wie es ist, er setzt nach einiger Zeit den Waschvorgang fort.

ELECTRICITY: The power grid in Croatia is sometimes not as stable as what we are normally used to. Therefore, short power outages may occur from time to time. This is no cause for concern, and the electricity usually returns after a few minutes. In case of overload, a fuse in the fuse box may trip. One fuse box is located in the living room behind the entrance door, and another one behind the entrance door to the bedrooms.
HOT WATER BOILER: The hot water boiler is located in the former stable above the washing machine. There are two important things to note here. On the left side of the door in the stable, two switches are installed. The switch with a light indicator controls the boiler and turns it on or off. To ensure you have hot water, make sure it is always switched on. Additionally, on the underside of the boiler there is a dial that allows you to set the water temperature. Based on experience, a medium setting is sufficient for about four people.
AIR CONDITIONING: All rooms are equipped with air conditioning units. You will find the remote controls in the entrance area of each room. Since they are different models, please do not swap them between rooms. To protect the environment and conserve resources, we appreciate mindful use of the air conditioning.
How they work: First press the On/Off button to activate the unit. In the first bedroom, this may be slightly delayed. You can set the desired temperature using the arrow buttons. The FAN button controls the fan speed; pressing it repeatedly adjusts the setting. If you open the remote control at the bottom, you can select the different functions by repeatedly pressing the MODE button. Use the snowflake symbol for cooling and the sun symbol for heating. The blue buttons adjust the position of the air vents through repeated pressing.
We have provided space heaters in the bathroom and WC for cooler nights early or late in the year.
DISHWASHER: To use the dishwasher, open the water tap in the cupboard under the sink. Please always use 3-in-1 tabs that already contain rinse aid and salt. This means there is no need to add rinse aid or salt manually. On the left side of the dishwasher, there is a button with a tab symbol. This button must be pressed so that the tab dissolves properly. Please note that power fluctuations can occur, especially during the high season. The dishwasher may switch off and stop during the washing cycle. Simply leave everything as it is—it will resume the washing program after some time.
WASHING MACHINE: A washing machine is located in the stable, and you are welcome to use it. The water tap is located behind the washing machine.
KITCHEN BOILER: Under the kitchen sink, there is a hot water boiler for the kitchen. It has a dial for switching it on and off and for adjusting the temperature. Please do not set it higher than “e”, as the water pressure may become too high and the faucet may start to drip.
TELEVISION: The house is equipped with a Smart TV and a soundbar. All common streaming services are already preset on the remote control. An HDMI cable is available if you wish to connect your laptop or other devices. You can also connect your devices via Bluetooth if you prefer. Traditional TV reception is not available.
