Das Angebot an Cafés und Restaurants auf Murter ist riesig und erweitert sich Jahr für Jahr! Es gibt in jedem der vier Orte zahllose Lokalitäten in den verschiedensten Preisklassen und mit den verschiedensten Angeboten. Viele sind fußläufig von unseren Ferienhäusern zu erreichen und direkt im Hafen oder am Wasser. Im Folgenden findet ihr eine kleine Auswahl an Restaurants zur Orientierung, was euch hoffentlich nicht davon abhält, weitere Lokale zu erkunden. Da immer mehr Gäste schon im April anreisen und die Saison mittlerweile bis weit in den Herbst geht, bleiben jedes Jahr mehr Restaurants ganzjährig geöffnet, oder öffnen schon im April und schließen erst im November. Zwischen Juni und September solltet ihr unbedingt reservieren, damit ihr einen Platz habt.
Murter:
Im Zentrum und den angrenzenden Hafengassen findet ihr zahlreiche Gaststätten, Restaurants und Cafes. Der Hafen ist nur wenige Gehminuten von unserem Fischerhaus entfernt.
Café Leopold
Gleich rechts an der ersten Ecke, wenn man in das Zentrum von Murter kommt, befindet sich das Cafe Leopold und ist nicht zu übersehen. Seine Aussensitzplätze füllen sich stets als erstes am Anfang der Saison und laden bis weit in den Herbst hinein ein, um zu sehen und gesehen zu werden. Ihr findet es hier.
Muu Murter
Direkt an der Straße die durch den Platz am Hafen führt links vom Leopold findet ihr leckere, moderne Burger mit knusprigen Pommes dazu. Häufig muss man ein paar Minuten warten, da die wenigen Plätze belegt sind, aber es lohnt sich. Besteck müsst ihr euch übrigens bestellen, wenn ihr die Feuchttücher nicht nutzen wollen :-)) Klickt hier für mehr.
Kod Ive
Etwas versteckt in den Wohnvierteln von Murter findet ihr dieses familiengeführte Restaurant Kod Ive. Der eine Bruder kellnert, der andere kocht mit der Mutter, eine klassische kroatische Menukarte. Eine bodenständige Küche wird hier mit Liebe gekocht, man schmeckt die frischen Zutaten und die individuelle Zubereitung von häufig regionalen Produkten. Und das zu moderaten Preisen! Kezo
Rechts neben dem Leopold ist das Restaurant Kezo. Ein Restaurant, ganzjährig geöffnet und recht beliebt bei Seglern und Einheimischen, daher ganzjährig stets gut besucht. Im Erdgeschoß findet sich die Bar, während der erste Stock das Restaurant beherbergt. Zum Essen wird im Steinofen gebackenes Brot gereicht und der Service ist freundlich. Obwohl, für kroatische Verhältnisse, die Preise am oberen Rand liegen, lohnt sich ein Besuch. Gern genommen das Pfeffersteak oder der Kalamar vom Grill. Mareta
Am Platz nicht zu übersehen, das Mareta. Beste Lage, direkt an einem kleinen Hafenbecken mit historischen Segelbooten. Das Mareta ist ganzjährig geöffnet und bietet eine umfangreiche Karte zu fairen Preisen und auch Frühstück. Sehr gut sitzt man auch auf den Dachterrassen. Ein Pizzalieferservice wird angeboten. Pizzeria Bufala
Neben dem Mareta führt ein kleiner Holzsteg an den historischen Holzbooten vorbei zu weiteren Restaurants, welche direkt an kleinen Hafenstegen liegen. In der Pizzeria Bufala könnt ihr eine tolle Steinofenpizza genießen. Ihr findet die Pizzeria hier.
Tunga Re
Folgt man der Straße am Restaurant Kezo vorbei, liegen links zwischen den Altstadthäusern kleine schmale Gassen. Dort gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants von Fisch bis Fast Food. In der fünften Gasse, der Turcinova, ist gleich am Anfang die Pizzeria Tunga Re. Eine rustikale, typisch südländische Pizzeria, mit gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis und freundlichem Service. Eine Anlaufstelle auch für Einheimische, die sich auch oft schnell eine Pizza rausholen.
Fine Food Murter
In einer weiteren dieser kleinen, charmanten Altstadtgässchen das Fine Food Murter. Schon die Optik der Gasse ist ein Highlight und mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Und ganz ähnlich, wie mit den kleinen Details in der Gasse, ist es hier auch mit den Details der Speisen. Hier wird mit Liebe zum Detail gekocht und so hört man häufig Gutes über dieses Restaurant. Die Abwege von der einfachen, herkömmliche, kroatischen Küche wollen natürlich bezahlt sein, somit findet sich hier auch das etwas gehobene Preissegment. Den Weg dorthin findet ihr hier.
Konoba Boba
Ein Stück weiter die Straße entlang auf der rechten Seite liegt, die Konoba Boba. Sie ist sehr beliebt bei Seglern, da nah an der Marina gelegen. Recht kleine Portionen treffen hier auf recht große Preise. Hier teilen sich die Meinungen. Manche sind richtig begeistert, andere finden besseres Essen zu besseren Preisen woanders. Ich fürchte ihr müsst selber testen, denn die Karte klingt schon gut. Den Weg dorthin findet ihr hier.
Konoba Pjero
Pjero ist ein Restaurant im historischen Teil von Murter "Stari Murter" genannt. Nur wenige Schritte vom Fischerhaus entfernt, direkt in der Altstadtgasse Srimacka an einem alten romantischen Platz gelegen. Es ist ein einfaches, recht günstiges Restaurant, mit einer gemischten Karte, typisch dalmatinisch, in uriger Atmosphäre. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, geöffnet ist ab 18h von Juli-September.
Betina:
Auch in Betina gibt es zahlreiche Lokalitäten, welche häufig in alten, denkmalgeschützten Gebäuden eröffnet wurden und nur wenige Schritte von unserem Bootshaus entfernt sind.
Stari Mlin
Die "Alte Mühle" liegt genau am Platz im Hafen, neben der Post. Nur in den Sommermonaten geöffnet, bietet sie genau das was man sich manchmal wünscht. Eine ursprüngliche, rustikale Atmosphäre mitten im Leben, eine kleine aber typisch mediterrane Karte, netten Service und gute Qualität. Wenn viel zu tun ist, sollte man ein wenig Zeit mitbringen, da es auch mal etwas dauern kann.
Konoba Kanata
Dieses charmante Restaurant liegt im Herzen von Betina in der ehemaligen Apotheke. Die Konoba Kanata hat charmante Innenräume, eine tolle Veranda und Plätze unter Olivenbäumen am Rande des Dorfplatzes, mit Blick auf den Museumshafen. Vorreservierung ist in der Hauptsaison zwingend nötig. Eine richtige Menukarte gab es in den letzten Jahren nicht, hier kommt der Koch zu euch an den Tisch und stimmt mit euch eure Wünsche und sein Angebot ab. Fleisch, Fisch, Vegetarisch: Bereitet er euch alles. Wenn viel los ist, bringt auf jeden Fall etwas Zeit mit. Wir finden es lohnt sich, sich darauf einzulassen.
Riva
Das ursprüngliche Werftgebäude ist passend zu seinem Baustil einfach und rustikal eingerichtet. Das Riva besticht durch seine Schlichtheit und seine umwerfende Lage. Seitlich das kleine Hafenbecken und voraus das Meer! Die Pizzeria bietet gute Steinofenpizza in toller Urlaubsatmosphäre. Den Tag bei einer Flasche guten Landweins ausklingen lassen. Was klingt verführerischer.
L'amore per il gelato
Frisch eröffnet hat in 2024 eine kleine charmante Eisdiele, direkt am Hafenplatz, eröffnet, die mit 100% natürlichem und handgemachten Eis wirbt. Unser erster Test war klasse! Hier geht es zur Location.
Jezera:
Anders als Murter und Betina hat Jezera keinen runden Platz am Hafen um den sich die Restaurants tummeln. Vielmehr schmiegt sich die frisch, mit Sandstein, sanierte Promenade des alten Fischerdorfes um den Hafen herum und die vielfältigen Restaurants, Cafes, Eisdielen und kleinen Lädchen reihen sich wie eine Perlenkette aneinander. Nur wenige Minuten von unserem Inselhaus entfernt sitzt ihr hier bei guter Speise und schauen den Fischern in ihren kleinen Booten zu wie sie ein- und auslaufen.
Konoba Denis
Fahrt Richtung Zentrum, so ist die Konoba Denis eines der ersten Restaurants, auf der linken Seite, bevor ihr auf die Uferpromenade trefft. Eine gute Speisenauswahl trifft hier auf typisch rustikal, dalmatinische Atmosphäre. Zu einem ordentlichen Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis und nettem Service, genießt man die lauen Sommerabende in südlichem Flair.
Tuna Bar Toni
Wenn ihr im Hafen an der Promenade steht, werdet ihr das Schild des Pizzeria und Tunabar Toni sofort entdecken! Im Untergeschoss einfache, rustikale Pizzeria, mit Pizza aus dem Steinofen, wird es oben etwas mondäner, mit guter Weinauswahl. Wenn es mal etwas feiner sein soll.
Strandbars Jezera
Folgt der Promenade am Hafen rechts herum, bis ans Ende, dort beginnt der Strand Lucica, mit einer kleinen Promenade. Hier entlang befinden sich einige Snackbars und Bistros, in denen man prima den Tag ausklingen lassen kann und ein kühles Radler im Schatten der Bäume trinken kann und dem Strandleben zuschauen kann.
Grillimbiss Pirun, der spezielle Tipp
Einfach, rustikal, aber irgendwie original. Auf dem Weg Richtung Jezeras Zentrum, noch ca. 500m davon entfernt findet ihr auf der rechten Seite einen Konzum Supermarkt. Direkt daneben befindet sich der Grillimbiss Pirun, mit einer größeren Speisenauswahl als gedacht. In ungezwungener Biergartenatmosphäre werden hier Riesenportionen und Grillspezialitäten zu moderaten Preisen geboten, der Service ist freundlich und heiter kann hier der große Hunger gestillt werden. The offer of cafes and restaurants on the Island of Murter is huge! In each of the four villages are numerous localities in all price segments and different menues. Murter next to Fisher House:
Café Leopold
Right at the first corner, if you reach the center of Murter, the Cafe Leopold is located. Its outside seats are occupied first at the beginning of the season and invite till late in autumn for see and being seen.
Muu Murter
Next to Leopold to the right you will find delicious, modern Burgers of a good quality and crispy fries, at Muu Murter. Don't forget to order cutlery if you don't like to use your hands :-))
Kod Ive
A bit hidden in the living districts of Murter you will find this family-runned restaurant named Kod Ive. One brother does the service, the other one cooks with their mother classic croatian menues. A down to earth kitchen is made with love , you can taste the fresh ingredients and the individual preparation of often products from the region. And that to a moderate price level! Parkings are right in front of the door, so have fun and good appetite! Find the location by following this link.
Kezo
Right of the Leopold, the restaurant Kezo. A restaurant, open whole year long and quiete popular in sailors circles and the residents and all the year well visited. While downstairs is the bar, upstairs the restaurant found its place. Beside the meal you get fresh bread out of the stone oven and the service is friendly. Although for Croatian proportion not cheap, a visit is worth it. Well known the pepper steak, or the calmar barbecued. Kezo is located here.
Mareta
You can miss the Mareta directly located at the main central place. Best location, directly at a small harbour with historic sail boats. It is open all year and offers a big variety to regular Preises. Also breakfast is offered. Check also out the roof terraces with a great view across the harbour and the next islands. Also a delivery service is offered.
Pizzeria Bufala
Next to Mareta there is a small wooden gangplank Along the historic boats it leads to to further restaurants, which are directly at small harbour jettys. Pizzeria Bufala offers well done stone oven pizza. You will find it here.
Tunga Re
If you follow the main street past the Kezo, you will find narrow alleys between the old town houses on the left side. There are several restaurants offering all kind of food. In the fith alley, the Turcinova alley, right in the first house you will find Pizzeria Tunga Re. A rustic, typical Mediterranean Pizzaria, at a good price range and nice service. Also lot of born Murterini go out for dinner there.
Konoba Boba
Just a bit further along the main street on the right, there is Konoba Boba. Popular for Sailors, because close to the marina. Quite small portions meet quite high prices. There are different opinions about this location. Some guests are exited, some others find better meal for better prices somewhere else.
Fine Food Murter
In another of these small, charming old town streets is Fine Food Murter. The look of the alley itself is a highlight and designed with a lot of love. And just as with the small details in the alley, it is also the case here with the details of the food. The food here is cooked with attention to detail and you often hear good things about this restaurant. Of course, the deviations from simple, conventional Croatian cuisine have to be paid for, so the somewhat higher price segment can also be found here. You can find the way there here.

Pjero is a restaurant in the middle of the historic part of Murter called "Stari Murter". Just a few steps away from the Fisherman House, direct in the oldtown alley Srimacka at an old romantic square. It is a simple, restaurant with a mixed menue, not too expensive in rustic atmosphere. Open from July till September.
Betina:
Betina as well offers a lot of localities, often opened in old, preserved buildings and nearby the Boat House.
Stari Mlin
The "Old Mill" is located right at the square at the harbour, next to the post office. Only opened in the summer months, it offers exactly what you wish sometimes. A original, rustic atmosphere in the middle of Dalmatian life, a small, but typical mediterrainian menue, nice service and good quality. If crowded, please bring some time with you, because the small kitchen needs takes some then.

The old building on a former boat builders yard is, fitting to its construction, simple and rustic furnished. It impresses with simplicity and gorgous location. Sideways the small former dock, and ahead the sea! The pizzaria offers good pizza out of a stone oven in best vacations atmosphere. Letting the day fade away with a good bottle of home made wine. What sounds better.
L'amore per il gelato
Newly opened in 2024 a small charming ice cream shop, directly at the plaza. It's commercial tells that they only offer 100% natural handmade ice cream. Our first test was very good!
Jezera:
Different to Murter and Betina, Jezeras center is not just a square at the harbour. In fact it is a lately, with domestic sandstone restored, promenade, which leads around the harbour. The restaurants, bars, cafes, ice cream shops and small shops are laying like a bead chain around the rim. Just a few steps away from the Island House, you are sitting, with good meals and drinks, always next to the sea and take a look what the fishermen are doing.
Konoba Denis
If you enter the center, "Konoba Denis" is one of the first restaurants lefthand. A good selection of meals meets rustic , dalmatian atmo. At a good value-for-money ratio and nice service you will enjoy the calm summer evenings of the south.
Tuna Bar Toni
Down at the promenade you will immediately see the sign of Pizzeria and Tuna Bar Toni. Downstairs rustique Pizzeria with Pizza made in stone oven, upstairs it is a bit mor sophisticated, with nice wine selection. If the evening needs something special.
Beachbars Jezera
Follow the promenade at the harbour to the right, till the end. There starts the beach Lucica, with its small promenade. There are located some Bistros and Beachbars, where you can wonderful slide into the evening, in the shade of the trees, while watching the beach life, and having a cold drink.
Pirun-Grill, the special hint
Simple, rustic, but somehoe typical. On the way to the center of Jezera, still 500 meters away of it, righthand you will find a Konzum supermarket on the right. Lefthand there is a grill house, with a bigger selection as expected. In casual beergarden atmosphere you get huge portions and barbecued meat, at small prices. Service is very friendly and humorous and the big hunger can be solved here. Sometimes just what you need after a long swimming day. The offer of cafes and restaurants on the Island of Murter is huge! In each of the four villages are numerous localities in all price segments and different menues. Café Leopold
Right at the first corner, if you reach the center of Murter, the Cafe Leopold is located. Its outside seats are occupied first at the beginning of the season and invite till late in autumn for see and being seen.
Muu Murter
Next to Leopold to the right you will find delicious, modern Burgers of a good quality and crispy fries, at Muu Murter. Don't forget to order cutlery if you don't like to use your hands :-))
Kod Ive
A bit hidden in the living districts of Murter you will find this family-runned restaurant named Kod Ive. One brother does the service, the other one cooks with their mother classic croatian menues. A down to earth kitchen is made with love , you can taste the fresh ingredients and the individual preparation of often products from the region. And that to a moderate price level! Kezo
Right of the Leopold, the restaurant Kezo. A restaurant, open whole year long and quiete popular in sailors circles and the residents and all the year well visited. While downstairs is the bar, upstairs the restaurant found its place. Beside the meal you get fresh bread out of the stone oven and the service is friendly. Although for Croatian proportion not cheap, a visit is worth it. Well known the pepper steak, or the calmar barbecued. Kezo is located here.
Mareta
You can miss the Mareta directly located at the main central place. Best location, directly at a small harbour with historic sail boats. It is open all year and offers a big variety to regular Preises. Also breakfast is offered. Check also out the roof terraces with a great view across the harbour and the next islands. Also a delivery service is offered.
Pizzeria Bufala
Next to Mareta there is a small wooden gangplank Along the historic boats it leads to to further restaurants, which are directly at small harbour jettys. Pizzeria Bufala offers well done stone oven pizza. You will find it here.
Tunga Re
If you follow the main street past the Kezo, you will find narrow alleys between the old town houses on the left side. There are several restaurants offering all kind of food. In the fith alley, the Turcinova alley, right in the first house you will find Pizzeria Tunga Re. A rustic, typical Mediterranean Pizzaria, at a good price range and nice service. Also lot of born Murterini go out for dinner there.
Konoba Boba
Just a bit further along the main street on the right, there is Konoba Boba. Popular for Sailors, because close to the marina. Quite small portions meet quite high prices. There are different opinions about this location. Some guests are exited, some others find better meal for better prices somewhere else.
Fine Food Murter
In another of these small, charming old town streets is Fine Food Murter. The look of the alley itself is a highlight and designed with a lot of love. And just as with the small details in the alley, it is also the case here with the details of the food. The food here is cooked with attention to detail and you often hear good things about this restaurant. Of course, the deviations from simple, conventional Croatian cuisine have to be paid for, so the somewhat higher price segment can also be found here. You can find the way there here.
Konoba Pjero
Pjero is a restaurant in the middle of the historic part of Murter called "Stari Murter". Just a few steps away from the Fisherman House, direct in the oldtown alley Srimacka at an old romantic square. It is a simple, restaurant with a mixed menue, not too expensive in rustic atmosphere. Open from July till September.
Betina:
Betina as well offers a lot of localities, often opened in old, preserved buildings and nearby the Boat House.
Stari Mlin
The "Old Mill" is located right at the square at the harbour, next to the post office. Only opened in the summer months, it offers exactly what you wish sometimes. A original, rustic atmosphere in the middle of Dalmatian life, a small, but typical mediterrainian menue, nice service and good quality. If crowded, please bring some time with you, because the small kitchen needs takes some then.
